I live in a state where not a lot of people believe in equal rights. It feels good to have this sticker on my car has a representation that I believe in equality for all. It's like being part of a super cool club. :) When I see the few other cars around town that have their equality stickers, it makes me smile.

I live in a little in-da-woods town in Eastern Washington, and for some reason it's quite the breeding ground for hicks and ignorance. I ordered about ten a while back, and now whenever my friends and I are skating around and we see a big ol' pick-up with a rebel-flag decal, we just go ahead and slap one of these on. They can go unnoticed for months, but our schools LGBT population really gets a kick out of it. Thanks HRC. (Posted on 4/4/13)

My 5 y/o son is in kindergarten and learning new words every day. When my HRC Equality bracelet arrived recently, I saw it as an excellent opportunity to teach him a new word, along with its meaning. I also taught him how to spell the word and how to draw the HRC logo. Now he includes both on all of his art work! Equality begins at home! (Posted on 10/22/12)

We live in a country where it should be fair for each of us to express themselves freely. I do not understand how religious doctrine has been mistaken as a tool for bigotry and hatred instead of a tool of love and gentle-kindness. I choose to agree to disagree with many people, but I ultimately accept and love them for who they are. Homosexual or heterosexual. Male or female. Religious or not. Treat others the way you would wish to be treated even though you may not always agree. Easy to say, harder to do.
